Land Pollution
Land pollution and ground pollution is the contamination of the
ground surface and the layers below it. The main factors for the
land pollution in our world are four:
1. Urban waste which we are throwing away pollutes the ground
dramatically. Paper, glass and plastic are maybe the small problem,
but when we are talking about electric waste and non biodegradable
materials, the damage is much bigger.
2. Industrial waste contains all kind of paints, heavy metals,
chemicals and other materials which damaged the ground itself and
the water sources.
3. The need for minerals is growing every day for many uses. The
more minerals we are exploiting, the more damage we are coursing to
the gentle breakable ground infrastructure.
4. Agriculture uses chemicals and produce crop, farm residues and
different animals manure which are all combining with the land.
The components in the polluted land are leaking to our drinking
water and to fruits and vegetables which are grown in this land. The
direct effect on the human beings is many kinds of cancer, lever and
hart diseases and death.
There are many thing one ca do in order to prevent or decreasing the
land pollution around him. All we need is to take care and pay
attention to the liter and garbage we are producing. It's all about
education. In the daily life we all need to remember that recycling
is a way of life, it prevent liter and save energy. The liter we are
having must be disposed properly and in the specific places for it.
Do your best to avoid littering and land pollution.
